- There is widespread excitement nationally about Participatory Budgeting, it involves the public in budget setting; it can engage groups not normally involved in decision-making; it enables complex issues (such as area based grants) to be addressed simply. Attend this seminar to learn how Participatory Budgeting works, hear from national experts from the Governments new Participatory Budgeting Unit as well as practitioners who have used the technique in a variety of settings. This seminar will provide you with tools which you can apply locally.
