The PB Unit are holding a one day regional seminar for the North West in Preston in partnership with Government Office North West and the Regional Empowerment Partnership.

The seminars purpose are to provide more information on participatory budgeting, allow discussion about how participatory budgeting fits with local issues/challenges and to look existing participatory budgeting projects in the region.

The seminars are aimed at those that are interested in participatory budgeting but haven't necessarily started their own project.  It's for those that are wanting to find out more about it or who are looking for guidance in how to plan a process in their area.

The seminar is open to public sector and community/voluntary/third sectors within the Government Office region.

The event is free of charge but we ask you to register your attendance so we can send out information prior to the event and for adminstrative purposes.  To register your interest/book a place on the seminar please contact Jenny Lazarus on 0161 236 9331 or email mail@participatorybudgeting.org.uk
