Neighbourhood PB
This model involves people in making decisions on various services and budgets within a neighbourhood, and is one option of a pooled budget or total place approach

The origins of this approach lie in neighbourhood management. With the advent of total place budgets and more recently, neighbourhood budgets, it makes increasing sense to involve residents in the neighbourhood in how the money is spent.
The additional funds that were once available, may not be any more, but services still need to be provided in neighbourhoods. Involving residents in the difficult decisions, tailoring services to local need, co-producing and co-commissioning services, around pooled budgets based on a neighbourhood can produce powerful outcomes in communities.
This is an area of innovation and development so there aren't the same number of case studies. However, Manton in Bassetlaw, Sheffield and Dulverton in Somerset are all developing approaches on this model.
