Are you interested in winning the right for local people to have a say in local budgets?

Make sure you are part of this energising workshop on getting a much greater say for ordinary people in how public budget’s are spent locally.

If you think it is our right to have more of a say on how our taxes are spent locally, then this workshop is for you.

Billions of pounds of our money is being used by public bodies without any involvement of local people. The People’s Budget is about helping you understand how to persuade your local council, health organisation, police force or housing provider to give you a significant say.

Where: Account3, 3 Birkbeck Street, Bethnal Green, London E2 6JY (200 yards from Bethnal Green tube station). The venue is wheelchair accessible and has hearing loop.

Who is this for: community, resident and tenants groups

This is a free event, but places are limited so please book using the link below.

If you need help with travel or childcare costs to be able to participate, please ring Susie on 07984 871462 as soon as you can, and by 19 January at the very latest.

Supported by London Civic Forum (growing London project), Small Change, Urban Forum, New Start Magazine, Church Action on Poverty and the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust.
