Buzzing young people's event with Plan UK
The PB Unit put on an event with Plan UK for Plan representatives both in the UK and internationally. It was buzzing with excitement, ideas, innovations and learning.

Representatives from Plan International in Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Indonesia, Cambodia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Bolivia and the Americas Region came to a PB for children and young people workshop and learning day on 9th May 2009

The PB Unit was able to share it's experiences of working with children and young people on participatory budgeting in the UK with representatives from all around the world, which was an excellent opportunity for us to give back and feed into the international PB learning, rather than just learning from it ourselves.
It was also good to share our experiences with other charities and to see PB ideas blossom in other organisations.
