Budget Hero is a budget simulator tool developed in the US. It's a game that allows you to change what public money is spent on depending on your priorities.
Budget Hero was developed last year in the run up to the Presidential Election in the US. It works with the US budget, which is somewhat different from the UK but it's an interesting game to see the impact of budget decisions on public spending.
The game also educates the player in understanding the pros and cons of a decision and the potential impacts of the decision - and through the process enables the player to understand more about public budgets.
