Want more information about e-PB?

Online participatory budgeting or e-PB has gained growing interest over the past few years.  We felt it was time to get involved with the debate an produce a discussion paper on the subject.  The discussion paper sets out the main risks and opportunities for e-PB as we see them.  It also sets out our views of e-PB and in what situations we consider it to be appropriate.

We have also produced guidance for practitioners which includes a case study and some tools which we hope pracitioners will find helpful in deciding whether e-PB is right for their process and how they might go about it. 

We recognise that we are not experts in this field and so we have not tried to provide a comprehensive summary of the debate nor do we provide information on technologies.  What we have produced we hope is a useful starting point for a discussion about e-PB, particularly for practitioners but also for communities involved or wishing to be involved in PB and/or e-PB.
